The choice for purity is being challenged by the prevalence of pornography in our society. While the problem begins with poor choices during adolescence, it is a problem a man contends with all of his life (15% of men 65 and older view pornography).

Pornography is a societal issue affecting not only individuals, but also relationships men have with wives, girlfriends, and families. Most importantly this issue hinders our relationship with God.

The seminar is relevant for women. According to recent statistics 47% percent of families said pornography is a problem in their home and was a factor in 2 out of 3 divorces in 2003. Currently 28% of individuals who admit to an addiction to pornography are women. It is important that mothers, wives, girlfriends, and sisters gain some understanding of the gravity of pornography and its solution.
